<div>Our family recently received devastating news-my 16-year-old nephew, Avery, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). What should be a time filled with school, football, friends, and teenage milestones has instead turned in to hospital stay, treatments, and a new uncertainty.

<div>Avery is a strong, kind, and resilient young man who loves God, sports, his family, and his friends. He always has a smile on his face and such a sweetheart. He has shown incredible courage since the diagnosis, but the road ahead will be long and challenging.
</div>

<div>Treatment has just begun since his diagnosis on Wednesday 8/28/2025. All treatment can take months and requires intensive chemotherapy, frequent hospital stays/visits, and ongoing care. Avery and his family will have to travel frequently to Dallas to receive treatment. The emotional toll is heavy, and so is the financial burden. Between the medical bills, travel expenses time away from work for his parents, and unexpected cost that come with long-term care it can be very overwhelming.
