Help Avery Beat Cancer

This past holiday season was quite challenging for my sister and her family. Just recently, my sister and her husband took their 2-year old daughter, Avery, in for a check up, and her doctor discovered a large tumor on her liver. We were all hoping and praying for a Christmas miracle that this was nothing life threatening. Sadly, the day after Christmas, they received the heartbreaking news that their little girl has Hepatic angiosarcoma, a very rare and aggressive liver cancer.

 A quick Google search of this type cancer is enough to understand why my family is deeply distressed and scrambling to find a bit of hope. My niece Avery is already such an intelligent little human who lights up the room with her radiant smile and contagious laughter. We simply cannot accept the prognosis, and while we’re not willing to give up hope, the enormous financial strain for her treatment is just one more burden amongst many.
