The grief we’re feeling is overwhelming, and it’s hard to find the right words to express the pain. Despite this, the outpouring of compassion from friends, neighbors, and even strangers has reminded us that we are not alone. <div> Our daughter Ava, who is 9 years old, lost all of her Christmas gifts in the fire. We also have two older children, ages 16 and 17, who don’t live with us but also lost all of their gifts. We want to make sure none of our children are left out during this difficult time.
