My name is Austin Cook and my father, Louis Cook Sr. aka Louie, suddenly passed away on Friday, May 9, at his home in Southwest Philadelphia. I'm in shock and disbelief as I'm writing this to all of you. With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, I will try to get through this brief story of my father's life.

Louis Cook Jr. was the son of the late Louis Cook Sr., aka Butchie to his friends and family at Leo's Steak Shop, and his mother, the late Jacqueline Cook, who passed away in 2024. He is also the brother of the late Joseph M. Cook, who also passed away suddenly recently. Lou also has two sisters, Jackie Sutherland and Stephanie Cook, and a brother, Harry Cook. Lou is also survived by his son, Austin M. Cook, and three grandchildren, Isabella Cook, Faith, and Ace.

Lou has a lot of friends and family, and we are asking for your help to get him to his final resting place. Lou was a family man, and if he was able to help others out, I know he would have done so. I'm having a financial hardship getting my father cremated, and I'm asking for help in doing so. Please, if you can help in any way, it would mean a lot to me.
