Hi my name is Austin Brooks I am raising funds for a Farm in Naivasha, Kenya. The farm feeds school children throughout Kibera. Kibera is the largest slum in Kenya with an estimated 1 million people living on less than $1 dollar per day.

The area has chronic malnutrition among children, with over 95% of children experiencing food uncertainty. The Naivasha farm provides/grows several high density, nutrient rich foods (ie. sweet potato’s, beets, lettuce, squash, spinach, sweet peas, beans, eggs, goat milk etc.).

The biggest issue the farm has is transporting the food to Kibera. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise proceeds directly to purchase a truck (used) to transport the produce from the farm to the schools in Kibera. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the purchase of a truck, there are no administrative fees. The truck will be used strictly for the transport of food for the benefit of school children in Kibera. Thank you for your consideration and helping feed children in Kibera.
