<div>*Just an update to let you all know how incredibly thankful Aungzay is for your support, he is so grateful for your generosity *. Aungzay is my friend, and he’s facing an incredibly tough time right now. After recently becoming homeless, he managed to get a tent and set up camp for the evening on Thursday, December 18th. When he returned from work and went to sleep for the night, the unimaginable happened. During a terrible storm, a tree branch fell on Aungzay while he was asleep in his tent, causing severed discs in his back and whiplash. Thankfully, he is not paralyzed, but he now faces several medical procedures and a long road to recovery and rehabilitation.

<div> Aungzay is currently in the hospital with no glasses, no phone, no belongings, and nowhere to return to when he is released. He could possibly lose his job, and although we’ve already called 211 and he’s on the list for help, nothing has come through yet. We are trying to raise funds to get him new glasses, a new tent or somewhere to stay while he awaits something more permanent, and to cover his medical expenses and daily essentials.

<div> If you feel it in your heart to contribute, know that your support will go directly to helping a truly nice guy who is employed and just landed in a bad spot from some poor decisions and horrible luck. Every bit of help will make a real difference in getting Aungzay back on his feet and giving him hope for a better future.
