Help Athena Heal: Support Her Vet Care

Hello all, my name is Gissell Paniagua and I am trying to raise money to help pay for veterinary expenses.

This is Athena; we named her that because she's a fighter.

I was on my way home and saw this adorable kitty on the side of the road. I decided to pull over and find out who she belonged to. She had no collar or chip. I noticed she had a fracture to her head and felt very malnourished and weak once I held her. I instantly rushed her to the vet to get her help. I didn't have the heart to abandon her there, so I stayed and accepted to take financial responsibility.

Athena had a fever of 102 when I took her in. They kept her overnight since she also had a skull fracture that had been infected. After 14 hours of having her at the vet, I received a call that she has been doing a whole lot better and is starting to walk. The vet stated that there is a very strong possibility that Athena could have a good quality of life.
