<div>Our beloved five-year-old rescue dog, Aspen, had a terrifying accident on Friday afternoon. While lying in the sun on a double-length leash outside Strive Foods, a customer unknowingly ran over her right side. Miraculously, her hips are okay, but her right front leg suffered multiple breaks in the ulna and a dislocated radius from the elbow joint, tearing ligaments.

<div>Aspen spent much of the weekend in the ER and today, Monday, November 17, she is undergoing surgery with plates and pins to repair her leg. The road ahead will be long, with restricted activity as she heals, but we are determined to get our energetic, loving girl running and playing again.
