About Our Fundraiser We are raising funds to continue offering free and low-cost art / music workshops to children and families in our community — and want to take the next step toward opening our permanent Artistry Park venue! Our dream is to create a year-round space where people of all ages can gather to learn, play, heal, express, and create together.
To begin this journey, we are hosting our first Community Fundraiser Carnival on Sunday, January 18th at Tri City Park in Placentia, from 10:00AM–3:00PM. This event is free and open to all ages, with hands-on art stations, music, dance, drumming, games, performances, and community celebration. It’s a space for families to experience what Artistry Park brings — joyful, culturally-rooted creativity and connection.
At the carnival and here on GoFundMe, friends and supporters can:
• Donate any amount
• Purchase carnival activity tickets
• Or pledge for private lessons, workshops, murals, soul food, and more (listed below)
All funds raised will go directly toward securing and preparing our permanent venue, with a target move-in date of May 2026. Our fundraising goal is $10,000 for this first phase — a seed that will help us unlock long-term stability and sustainability for our work.
Whether you join us in person, pledge for an offering, or contribute what you can — your support is helping build a home for creativity, culture, healing, joy, and belonging. Thank you for believing in this vision with us.
Support Our Work Through a Pledge! Instead of simply asking for donations, we are offering creative experiences and services in exchange for your support. Your contribution helps us continue to provide meaningful community-based art & music education, youth workshops, family engagement programs, and cultural events.
Choose a pledge below — or donate any amount from the heart.
Once you make your pledge, we will contact you to schedule your lesson, class, mural, or event. (We serve our local community within 25 miles of Placentia, CA. If you’d like us to travel further, we can! A small travel fee may apply based on distance.)

Our Story & Mission
Since 2019, Iwalani & April have been dedicated to enriching and uplifting creative spirits through art and music. We believe that every person—child or adult—deserves a place to express themselves, learn, perform, and connect. Whether through art classes, music workshops, or community-driven events, we’ve seen firsthand how creative expression builds confidence, joy, and stronger bonds in our community.
Why We Need Your Help
We are at a turning point. To take our business to the next level, we need to secure a permanent space—a place we can call our own. A place for art, music, workshops, and gatherings—all year round. But this takes funding:
Overhead costs (rent, utilities, insurance)
Basic supplies (chairs, tables, art supplies, sound equipment)
Paying staff to run programs and events
Business essentials (permits, marketing, maintenance)
Our Goals & Timeline
(Target Dates)
Secure and open our permanent space
May 2026
We are raising funds to make this possible. Even small contributions help us buy needed supplies, rent tools, book staff, and create an event that feels magical and meaningful.
Join Us!
If Iwalani or April has ever touched your life—through a class, workshop, event, or just by seeing creativity flourish—please consider donating. Even sharing this campaign with friends, family, or on social media helps more than you know. Let’s build something lasting: a home for creativity, connection, and community.
Thank you for believing in us and helping bring art, rhythm, and joy to families.
With gratitude,
The Artistry Park Team
April & Iwalani
