Help Arthur Blacks family with funeral costs.

Donation protected
Arthur Black sadly lost his battle against cancer on Friday 7th August 2020 and passed away peacefully with his family nearby.  Arthur was autistic and had learning and attention difficulties, so this complicated his understanding of the prognosis and treatment that he required.

Arthur's 80 year old mum, Anna, looked after him all of his life as she was all too aware of the invisible disability that he had. Anna said he was a 58 year old man on the outside but a young child on the inside and that best describes Arthur.

He loved his X-Box and Playstation games, in fact people could hear him playing his games from the street as he often became overly excited.  Arthur was frequently seen walking to the local shop for his bottle of Irn Bru which he couldn't do without. Arthur was a gentle, peaceful man that would stop to talk to anyone and ask how they were doing.

His mum had an insurance policy in place but for him but it was a few weeks short of the time required to pay out the amount expected, so she will really struggle to cover the costs involved with her sons funeral. So we hope to raise some money to help her out as no mother should have to worry about the costs of laying their child to rest.

Arthur was well known and loved and will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with the Black family.
