Hi my name is Joshua, and I’m fundraising for my beloved puppy, Artemis. Today, something happened that no dog owner ever wants to experience — Artemis was hit by a car and dragged underneath it.
She’s only 10 months old, still just a baby, and full of life. While out walking, another dog started barking and scared her. In a panic, she bolted into the road before I could stop her. A car hit her and dragged her, and in that moment, I truly thought I’d lost her.
Miraculously, she survived. She’s now in stable condition, but she’s been left with a fractured femur — the entire length of her right front leg is broken. She urgently needs surgery to save her leg and help her walk again.
Her procedure is being done at a specialist vet hospital in Shrewsbury, and we’ve already been back and forth from Bolton to get her seen. The emotional stress and travel are hard enough, but the financial burden is more than I can handle alone. My insurance will only cover half of the total costs, and I have no one else to turn to for help.
If you’ve ever loved a pet, you’ll understand — Artemis is more than just a dog. She’s my best friend, my shadow, and the brightest part of my life. She didn’t deserve this, and I’m doing everything I can to get her the care she needs. But right now, I need help.
Please consider donating if you’re able to — every single pound counts. And if you can’t donate, please share this with others who might be able to help.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading and supporting Artemis. She’s lucky to be alive, and with your help, she has a real chance at a full recovery
