<div>I am Lynda, Armie’s friend. I am greatly devastated by the news Armie shared with me — that she has been diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer.

<div>What makes this situation even more heartbreaking is that, on top of fighting for her life, Armie now faces the overwhelming challenge of raising a large amount of money out of her own pocket in order to proceed with life-saving surgery.

<div>I felt helpless when she told me. The only way I could think to truly help was to set up this fundraiser on her behalf — and to reach out to the kindness of this community.

<div>Armie is a loving mother of two teenage daughters, a devoted partner, and a compassionate carer. She works in an aged care facility, giving her time and heart to care for others. Now, she needs our help.

<div>As a non-permanent resident, her insurance will only cover $60,000 of the $100,000 required for her surgery. That leaves her with an urgent need to raise $40,000 out of pocket — a sum she cannot manage alone.

<div>Time is critical. Breast cancer spreads quickly, and the sooner she can undergo surgery, the better her chances of survival and recovery. Without immediate treatment, her life — and her family’s future — is at serious risk.

<div>Armie has no extended family here to turn to for financial support. I am hoping that, together, we can help ease this burden and give her the chance she so desperately needs.
