Armando Gonzalez Martinez is a devoted husband, father of three, and the main provider for his family. Until February 2025, he worked as an auto electrician, supporting not only his wife and children but also caring for his mother. Unfortunately, Armando’s life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with a dangerous heart condition that causes abnormal rhythms and severe pulmonary edema. Since then, he has been in and out of the hospital, unable to work, and now relies on costly medications and frequent emergency visits to remove fluid from his lungs. 
 
 
 Armando’s doctors at Hospital Civil de Guadalajara have told him he urgently needs an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) to prevent his heart from stopping suddenly. Without this device and ongoing treatment, his life is at constant risk. The family is struggling emotionally and financially, as Armando’s job did not provide health insurance or benefits. Watching someone so active and hardworking become bed-bound has been heartbreaking for everyone. The fear of losing him is overwhelming, and every day feels uncertain.

Hasta febrero de 2025, trabajó como electricista automotriz, apoyando no solo a su esposa e hijos, sino también cuidando de su madre. Lamentablemente, la vida de Armando cambió drásticamente cuando le diagnosticaron una peligrosa afección cardíaca que causa ritmos anormales y edema pulmonar severo. Sin este dispositivo y el tratamiento continuo, su vida está en riesgo constante. La familia está luchando emocional y financieramente, ya que el trabajo de Armando no proporcionaba seguro médico ni beneficios. Ver a alguien tan activo y trabajador postrado en cama ha sido desgarrador para todos. El miedo a perderlo es abrumador y cada día se siente incierto.
