Help APTCo start their season and find a home!

Hi friends! Join me in making a difference by bringing professional theater to Asbury Park. I'm raising money to help Asbury Park Theater Company find a home! Any donation will help make an impact. Our plans were dashed by Covid19 and we didn’t qualify for ANY government funding as we are all volunteers. We are a 501(c)3 NJ non-profit corporation.

We have so many great people on our Board dedicating their lives to this project. Asbury Park rental property (and real estate) rates are though the roof right now. Rent, utilities, insurance, licensing and technical equipment are very expensive but we can build this into something great if we come together. We need some theater Angels to lift us.

We can’t survive on ticket sales alone for much longer. If we had a home, we could save a lot of money and produce great theater for our community. We want to rent a space and once we raise enough money we hope to purchase our own space.

Some Asbury Park buildings are sitting vacant but we can’t afford 2 million dollars to purchase or $10k a month to rent one. Right now, we are renting performance space for one night per month and that costs us thousands of dollars when you figure in actor stipends, insurance, marketing, rehearsal space and other operating expenses. 

Our $50K goal is to pay our expenses and space rental so we can produce great theater and establish our company.
