Help Appeal The Mast to An Bord Pleanala

Hi everyone,

unfortunately against their own County Development Plan, Cavan Co. Co. have granted permission (with conditions) for the 18 METRE high monopole on the Matthew's property. The next stage is to appeal this decision via An Bord Pleanala (ABP) no later than the 3rd of August 2021.

A third party appeal to ABP costs €220. I am fund raising for €230 which is for this application fee, plus €10 to cover the costs of gofundme (2.9% fee and 25c on each transaction). There are many instances where they have over-turned planning permission that has been granted by local authorities and I believe this to be a very worthwhile appeal - we cannot just let this happen without putting up a fight.

An ABP inspector will consider the appeal and all documentation. They will normally visit the site to gather more information and take photographs for their report. After the site visit, the inspector prepares a report and recommendation for the Board. The Board will then make a decision based on all the documenation on the case. The whole process is concluded within 18 weeks.
