Help Antonet McKay

Antonet McKay is a highly valued staff member at Ashgrove State School. She has a role that is easily overlooked. She wakes at 4am every morning and diligently keeps our school and classrooms clean and tidy. The school community often takes her for granted as we arrive each morning to find that the mess of the previous day has been silently scrubbed away by this hardworking woman. She never complains and always greets fellow staff and students with a smile. 

Our lovely Antonet has been diagnosed with bone cancer and has continued to work as long as she could. Unfortunately, she is now unable to work and mobility is becoming very difficult for her. Please help us to purchase a mobility scooter for Antonet so that she can get around without suffering.  Antonet is unable to afford a mobility scooter herself especially now that she has had to take leave from the school due to her illness and continual pain.

Antonet really needs a mobility scooter as soon as possible, yesterday would have been better. We need the Ashgrove State School community to unite and come together as I know we can. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.

Although we have nearly reached our original target please continue to donate as all funds will go towards Antonet's treatment.
