Hi, I am Lanie. I am doing the GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my oldest brother, Anthony, age 49.

He is living in the Philippines. He was a farmer who worked hard every day to provide for his family. Farming has always been his way of life - waking up early, working under the sun, and doing everything he could to make sure his family had food on the table, send the children to school, and hope for a better future for them.

Recently, his life changed in a way he never expected. He was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma (Lymphoma Non-Hodgkin), a serious form of cancer, stage 3. The illness has weakened him greatly and taken away his ability to work and provide for his family.

Because they are underprivileged, some hospitals turned their backs on him for months. It is heartbreaking to go back and forth praying that a hospital would admit him for treatment. He finally got help and got admitted to one of the hospitals to start his treatment, but the medicine and treatment costs are very expensive. Even with his government discount PWD and PhilHealth, it still costs a lot. He wants to keep fighting - for his wife and children who still need their father. His children are aged 13, 11, and 9 - one boy and two beautiful girls.

That is why I am humbly asking for your help. Any donation, no matter what amount, will go toward his medical treatment, medicines, hospital care, and doctors' bills. We as a family are helping him as much as we can, but it's not enough to pay for his treatment.

Your kindness can give him a chance to fight this terrible illness and continue to survive and live with his beautiful family. Even if you cannot give financially, your prayers and words of encouragement mean so much to us.
