My husband, Anthony Ellis, was working for Tyson Foods in Hope, Ark., from September 2023 until February of this year, 2025. We both used to work there; I was terminated in April of 2024. We both made doctor's appointments for just a regular check-up, later finding out Anthony had Hep C. I was cleared. Anthony was prescribed the meds for his liver, but he didn't get them until 8 or 9 months later. We called and kept going to CVS, and they said Tyson Pharmacy wanted to distribute the medication, so we called them. The only reason he got it in November of 2024 is because I threatened them that I would sue if they didn't release his meds, considering he was working and paying for his insurance. He got the meds in November and December, but never got them in January. Anthony was terminated in February this year while still trying to work the whole time having Hep C.

Fast forward to now, he doesn't have insurance anymore, so I have to get the Obamacare insurance Marketplace under United Healthcare. They didn't want to pay, and now my husband has cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer all because they chose not to finish out his medication. The pills are $10,000, but when he had insurance, it was only $5. I need help saving my husband's life. Somebody dropped the ball, and they WILL PAY! God still has him here for a reason.
