Help Anna remain in a long-term care facility.

Donation protected
I am caring for my wife who is 71 and was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2005. Her Parkinson's Disease has progressed to a point where she has dementia, needs a walker for mobility, and often needs assistance with dressing, eating, etc. We have lived in independent living in a long-term care facility in Cincinnati since 2017. I am Anna's primary care giver, though I have some medical issues of my own, including severe short-term memory problems and double vision from a severe closed head-injury in 1978. It is likely that in the near future, we will need to pay for additional care for Anna.

Unfortunately, we were recently targeted by an internet scam and they got $39,995.00 out of our checking account. When I contacted our bank, I was informed that it cannot be recovered. I have followed up with the the authorities and am embarrassed by my error in judgement. I hesitate to share my story but I want to be able to continue to live in our retirement community and be able to pay for my wife's increasing needs. I am requesting that caring individuals make small contributions to our cause.

Sincerely,
