Anna Fay is someone with a huge heart and great attitude. She lights up a room when she smiles, and she is trying to keep up with the changes life has been handing her lately.
Her workplace has downscaled to part-time hours and working from home. She is looking for additional work options, but for the time being, she has lost a significant amount of income that meets her basic needs. (As a contracted employee, she does not qualify for unemployment).
Anna is dedicated to improving her health, and has lost significant weight in the last few years. However, she also suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and her symptoms have gradually worsened. While she is not incapacitated, she does struggle with mobility and stamina issues, and can no longer stand for long periods (such as working in retail). She needs the right fit for work that she can do without exacerbating her health problems, which requires planning and some time to find.
Her medical expenses alone total almost $500/month for insurance and medications, plus she has rent, utilities, food, and other usual costs, plus a car that is necessary for transportation. In order to make bills last month, she took out a title loan on the car, but paying that off sooner will reduce the amount of interest she has to spend.
Money that is raised will be used to help support her basic needs for the next month or two while she gets herself situated with some additional income options.
Anna also is trying to sell some of her clothing and household items, and could use some help with that process, as well as any other help around the house that might be offered. Send her a message if you would like to help.
Just to note, filing for disability requires a person to be without a job for six months before even applying, and takes years to get through the process, during which you can't work at all, so is not a practical option.
