<div>Update- What we know so far: He flipped his truck and suffered a spinal cord injury. Currently he is paralyzed from midchest down with limited mobility in his arms. He is in the ICU in Shreveport, and is intubated. We are able to communicate with him, but he is extremely sedated. He has an extremely long hard recovery ahead of him. Please keep our family in your prayers.

<div>Update- For the past couple of days he's been doing alright, but twice now his heart has stopped on us. They were able to get him back with CPR. They did an echo/ultrasound of his heart and told us that he may need a pacemaker for the foreseeable future. With him being intubated communication is difficult, but we worked out an alphabet system so he can (kind of) tell us what he needs. (He tells Anna he loves her by blinking three times.)

<div>They are trying to wean him down on oxygen so they can perform a tracheostomy which should ease a little of his discomfort. He still has no feeling below the chest, but we are still hopeful that he regains some mobility. Once again we are deeply grateful for everyone who has shared these posts, donated, reached out through phone calls and text messages and prayed for us. We are so completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love shown by all of you! However, we ask for your continued prayers not only for Vincent but Anna as well, as she has some health issues of her own but will not leave that hospital even for a minute.
