Help Ann Access Treatment

If you clicked on this GoFundMe, you likely know Ann Poochareon.  Ann is the incredible entrepreneur behind Little Robot Friends. She’s an AMAZING, talented, kind and hilarious woman, and she is our very dear friend.

Recently, Ann had some devastating news that she shared on Facebook: her third diagnosis of cancer, this time it’s stage 4, triple negative breast cancer metastasis to the liver. The CT scan showed multiple lesions, lots more than last time she was checked over, and getting bigger. Ann is heading into a very difficult treatment/ chemotherapy long-haul.


If you know Ann, you know that she lives life to the absolute fullest, filled with projects, travel, conferences, kid parties. Despite working endless hours, she always finds a way to make time for others, whether it’s offering help to a fellow mompreneur, or promoting a local business, or spearheading a school event. But her most important project has been her little family: Mark and Oren. And it’s time for her to slow down, relax and enjoy them.



Here’s where you come in: with her need to step back a bit from Little Robot Friends, let’s give Ann and Mark some financial peace of mind. In times like these, it’s common to reach out but not know what to do. By contributing financially, we are allowing Ann and Mark to make memories with Oren, spend time together and for Ann to focus and heal.  


We would appreciate any contribution. Even just a few dollars would make a difference. It sends the message that Ann and Mark aren’t alone. If you are unable to donate, please help us by sharing this with others. Let them know that Ann is a fantastic, deserving person and that you stand with her and her family.


Ann would like you to know that besides receiving treatment at the hospital, she is assembling a team of integrative care practitioners and the funds will be used, in part, for healthcare expenses not covered by OHIP.  Her integrative treatment includes supplements, nutritional oncology counselling (to improve her body's response to the chemo and lessen drug side effects), acupuncture, CBD oils (for pain) and meditation classes (for emotional wellness). There are many long-term cancer survivor stories involving 'radical remission' attributed to these integrative therapies, and Ann expects to be among them.  As she puts it: "a miracle is what we are going for here!"
