Help Aniyamma Jacob Recover After a Tragic Accident

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

I am creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of my beloved aunty, Aniyamma Jacob, a 67-year-old woman from Marakulam, Kerala, who recently suffered a tragic road accident.

On May 27, 2025, while crossing the road on a rainy day, Aniyamma was struck by a motorcycle. She was living alone at the time, having lost her husband a few years ago. Her days were spent preparing for a hopeful new chapter—moving to Australia to live with her only son, Denny Jacob, and his young family.

Unfortunately, just as Denny had begun settling in Australia after relocating from Ireland with his three small children, this devastating news shattered their world.

Aniyamma is currently admitted to Ananthapuri Hospital, where she remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She has undergone emergency brain surgery and multiple surgeries on her legs due to serious fractures. She is on oxygen support, with a ventilator on standby, and is being closely monitored through physical therapy to observe for any signs of movement. Further MRI results are pending, which will help determine the next steps in her treatment.

This has been an emotionally and financially overwhelming time for our family. Denny, being newly settled abroad, is already stretched thin trying to support his wife and children. The mounting medical bills, ICU charges, surgeries, and ongoing therapies are placing immense pressure on us all.
