Hello, my name is Angelique Pye. I’m a huge dog lover. I have 4 of my own and always picking up others off the street to reunite them with their owners. Last night, I came in contact with this beautiful boy named King, that has been abandoned. He’s been passed around and in need of urgent care. I took him to the vet that said he was their patient. They tried contacting the original owner that used to bring him in, she said that she re-homed him. He either ran away or was let go by the re-homed owner. No one has posted looking for him or responded to any of the posts searching for his owners. He stayed with me last night and didn’t get any sleep because he’s in so much pain. His proper vet said that the original owner was supposed to call them back with the rehomed owners info, but never did. I took him to Alief Animal Hospital to be examined and get a quote for surgery. The doctor said that he needed to be neutered and scrotum ablation. Total with all meds included is $420. I had to pay upfront but would greatly appreciate donations. I have 4 other dogs at home and can’t afford these costs for a 5th dog. I just didn’t want him to get any sicker. Two of my 4 don’t get along with him so I’m not able to keep him long term. I will keep him for 10 days after surgery so that he can heal in a clean, safe environment. After that, I would like for a rescue to tag him.
