Angelica Fights Breast Cancer

On September 26, 2017, Angelica's life changed forever when her worst fears were confirmed; she had breast cancer. Over the past year, she endured chemotherapy, radiation, double mastectomies and complications that resulted in 3rd degree burns, seizures, collapsed veins and continued swelling in her left chest requiring drains.

She returned back to work on July 3, 2018 after being without a pay check for eight months. Two weeks after returning back to work, she received a call from her oncologist that her biopsy came back positive for cancer that has metastasized and will require an additional year of chemotherapy and radiation. Angelica cannot afford to take another leave of absence from work and will brave chemotherapy treatments every 3 weeks while holding a full-time job serving our nation's veterans.

I've set up this fund to support Angelica as she continues in this fight to save her life. She does her best each day to stay upbeat, positive, and determined. Angelica has the will power to live, however, the loss of income has been extremely difficult. Your donation will be used to help defray her mounting medical costs- the deductibles, the co-pays, and all those expenses not covered by insurance. Your generosity will afford her the opportunity to continue medical treatment.
