Dear friends, Angela and I humbly ask for your kind support for her sister Jennifer, and nephew, Andy, to meet their immediate, basic needs following the passing of Angela’s mother, Pamela Groeschen. Jennifer has served as sole caregiver to their mother Pam throughout her final years of illness, which worsened with severe complications from diabetes and heart disease, including blindness, amputation, and dialysis. Pamela was only 60 years old. Sadly, her long-term health care completely exhausted the family’s resources.
Angela and I are committed to helping Jennifer and Andy build a sustainable way forward, but we would be incredibly grateful for your support as we must meet their immediate basic needs in addition to covering modest funeral expenses. Part of our support to them is bringing our own incredible community into their lives, to support them the way you’ve all loved and supported Angie and me.
Andy is an incredibly bright high-school student, a computer wizard, and a hard-working young man who spent this past summer starting a one-man landscaping operation that earned him a local community award. Jenny, who is disabled herself, cared for Pam 24 hours a day for years, foregoing her own career opportunities, relationships, and personal goals. These are two people who deserve a chance.
We are grateful for any help and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
