At just 30 years old, I was diagnosed with SLE lupus, papillary thyroid carcinoma, and rheumatoid arthritis. I underwent thyroid removal surgery, but the cancer returned in my lymph nodes. Over the past year, I’ve had three biopsies, and most recently, I suffered two brain strokes. These strokes have left me unable to work or drive, and I struggle daily with walking, memory, and even speaking due to numbness in my face. Life has become extremely challenging, and I now rely on my husband for almost everything, including caring for our three boys.

My medical needs are urgent and ongoing. I need to cover hospital bills, see a hematologist for a bone marrow biopsy, and pay for a neurologist. I also have another surgery coming up to remove a tumor from my lymph node near my jugular. The costs of these treatments are overwhelming, and I simply cannot afford them on my own. My husband is doing his best to support our family, but the financial and emotional strain is immense.

My greatest hope is to regain my health so I can be there for my children as they grow up. I want to live another 10 years and beyond, to watch my boys thrive and to be present in their lives.
