Her father, Angel Puente, was recently wrongfully detained by ICE and is now being held in a detention center in Memphis, Tennessee. He is legally here in the U.S., and has been going monthly to submit his legal report as he was supposed to. ICE wrongfully detained him after he was leaving court.

This tragedy has left the family in urgent need of support as they navigate the complex and stressful process of fighting for his release and resisting intense ICE intimidation. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming, and they are doing everything they can to bring him home.

All funds raised go directly toward retaining a lawyer who can represent Angel and help get him home. Legal representation is critical in situations like this. If ICE succeeds in intimidating him and the family into accepting wrongful deportation, he will be permanently separated from his family in the United States, where he is a hardworking small business owner and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
