Help Anesu Reunite with his Family

Anesu Dunbar Masube is an inspiring and strong individual, who works to make the world a kinder and more humane place.  His infectious warmth and humor puts everyone in his presence at ease.  Shortly before Christmas, Anesu's Mother unfortunately passed away.  He will be returning to Zimbabwe to attend his Mother's Funeral Service and be with his beloved sisters and family. Friends are coming together to help him pay for the flight fare, which given the urgency and time of year is quite costly.  We are asking for your generosity to ease the financial burden and help him be with his family in this difficult time.  

Anesu's Mother was an incredibly caring and compassionate woman.  As a lifelong educator she instilled the values that continue to propel Anesu and his family to change the world .  A single Mother, she worked very hard to support her family, while warmly embracing and providing for her extended family.  She will be deeply missed.

Anesu carries the values he learned from his Mother, working hard to establish a life for himself and support his family from afar.  Anesu, an IDEX Fellow, is pursuing his passion for social impact in DC; as an Atlas Corps Fellow and a Masters Student.  He seflessly works to uplift  those around him, creating Opportunties for Zimbabwe, enabling others to achieve their dreams.

Let's show him the warmth and love he has always shown us, by working together to send him home.
