Andrew is a sweet, curious, and loving child who also happens to be autistic and mostly non-verbal. Each day brings unique challenges, but one of the most difficult—and dangerous—has been sleep.

<div>Severe sleep disturbances (he typically sleeps only 3–4 hours a night), Nighttime wandering, Sensory regulation difficulties, and Episodes of self-harm (such as head-banging).

<div>His parents, Evelyn and Ronald, have done their best to manage this with every tool and therapy available—melatonin, sensory sheets, weighted blankets, sleep routines, and behavioral support. While some have offered minor relief, nothing has made sleep safe or consistent for him.

<div>What Andrew truly needs is a specialized medical bed—a Cubby Bed.

<div>This isn’t just a bed—it’s a medically recommended, therapeutic environment designed for children with complex needs. The Cubby Bed offers:

<div>We are trying to raise $15,000 to cover the full cost of the Cubby Bed, including medical-grade accessories, delivery, and setup.

<div>Not only will this bed provide Andrew with a safer, more restful night—it will also be a lifeline for Evelyn, who is his full-time caregiver, she stays up most nights making sure he’s safe, often running on just a couple hours of sleep, while his dad works all day and during nights drives as an Uber driver to support Andrew’s therapies and needs. This bed will give them the peace of mind and rest they so desperately need to keep going—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
