Hello all!
At the end of October this year, 2020 I was injured while playing soccer. I dislocated my left ankle and fractured my fibula. I had surgery a few days after the incident and I am now on the road to recovery. I have started physical therapy and over the next few months I will be working on regaining balance and strength so I can stand, walk and run again.
Luckily, I have a great support group of family and friends and have received some great advice. I sincerely appreciate those who have helped me while I endure the experience of this severe injury. Firstly, my parents for accommodating my needs for transportation and sustenance. Next, my grandparents Linda and George for their empathy and encouragement. And members of my extended family for their condolences and free medical advice. Dr. Adam Greenfield for his guidance during this process and amazing first aid skills, he was at the field the night of my injury and helped Callum carry me off the field. Callum is a coach that I work alongside with at a youth soccer organization named Rush Union in Dunwoody Georgia. Every friend and colleague at Rush Union has also given me love and support, Thank you. It means so much to me that I have people in my life who love me and have offered their support,
At this point, I have been out of work for 2 months and the hospital bills have been processed. My personal insurance account has covered majority of the fees but it will take me many months maybe years to pay them. If you would like to provide financial support to pay these bills, I would love you forever and be grateful to you for eternity. I work 2 jobs year around to support myself and to pay college loans, insurance plans, and now hospital bills. This year has been a challenge and a new, different experience to learn from, I am ready to welcome the next challenge, 2021. Please, I am asking you to continue to support me and prepare me for this next challenge of physical therapy and need for monetary assistance until I am back on my feet again.
