Help Andrea with Emily's Care

Donation protected
This is Emily, a vivacious 16 year old and student at Dr. Phillips High School, whose life was altered on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Emily, whose friends describe her as outgoing, kind and compassionate, was a victim of a crime in Orlando, Florida. Emily was shot four times outside her family's apartment by a nineteen year old perpetrator. This event will be life changing for her and her family.

Emily's mother, Andrea, is a caregiver at the Russell Home for Atypical Children, where she has been working for the last 2 and 1/2 years. Andrea works nights at the Russell Home and is a single mom to Emily and her three younger siblings. Due to the recent turn of events and prognosis, Andrea will be unable to resume work indefinitely. Her time will be devoted to seeking and providing the best possible care for Emily, while also being the sole provider and caregiver to her three other children. Due to her serious injuries, Emily will require ongoing care and rehabilitation.

We at the Russell Home, have set up this go-fund me page so that you can help this family of five attend to bills associated with the care of Emily and other living expenses. Your contributions, no matter how small, will help this family put the pieces of their life back together.

We would like to thank you in advance for your support.
