<div>Hi everyone! My name is Andie Washington and I am a current senior at Georgia Southern University working towards a degree in geology. As a geology major, my classmates and I are required to attend a six credit hour field camp where we will put the skills we've learned throughout the years into practice in the field. This includes interpreting geologic history, mapping, describing rock types, measuring structural features, and constructing cross sections. Unfortunately, Georgia Southern does not offer a field camp, yet is still required in order to graduate. Earlier this spring I was accepted to Wichita State University's field camp where I will be staying in Cody, Wyoming from May to June. The estimated cost is around $5,500 dollars. This includes fees for tuition, travel, gear and food.

<div>Any support you are willing to give will go directly to my field camp fund. Your contribution is not only helping me complete my degree, but also helping me take a giant step towards my goal of becoming a geologist. I am so thankful for the support and would appreciate your prayers for a safe trip!
