My name is Ananda Leeke and I've got great news. The Engaged Mindfulness Institute (EMI) accepted me into the 2017-2018 Mindfulness Facilitator Training & Certification Program . The year-long program offers the training I need to write about and teach mindfulness to women and girls of color, social justice activists, and creative, legal, and tech professionals.

Learn About My Mindfulness Journey

Over the past 25 years, my life has taught me that mindfulness is the gateway to who we truly are. I discovered mindfulness when my career as a young lawyer and investment banker did not produce the level of success I expected. By taking deep breaths and coming into the present moment, I gained access to awareness, balance, and calm. Mindfulness helped me overcome panic attacks, release career expectations, develop self-care practices, and pursue my calling as a reiki practitioner, yoga teacher, artist, author, speaker, and digital strategist.
