<div>Hello everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am writing to you on behalf of my brother, Anand Persad, who resides in Trinidad and Tobago.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anand has always been known as a pillar of support, ready to come to the rescue of those in need. A dedicated family man, his generosity knows no bounds, as he consistently gives of himself to others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anand endured a traumatic car accident on July 7 2023 caused by the negligence of a garbage truck company, which left him hospitalized for over two months. The accident resulted in life-altering injuries, rendering him unable to walk.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite undergoing complex hip surgery in Trinidad, the outcome was not successful, almost losing his life, and he continues to battle for the ability to walk again and lives a daily battle with extreme pain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, faced with the daunting challenge of complex, reconstructive hip surgery, his family is compelled to seek treatment in the United States, where expertise and infrastructure surpass those available in Trinidad. However, the financial burden of such a journey weigh heavily, as they must navigate the costly endeavor and significant financial burden of paying out of pocket for medical expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His resilience in the face of adversity and his unwavering commitment to his family shine through, as he continues to navigate the physical and emotional hurdles that accompany such a traumatic experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The cost of the surgery and all the out of pocket expenses included are far beyond what his family is able to afford. With your support, Anand may have the hope of being able to walk again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donations or contributions, no matter the amount, will make a huge difference. Your donation will directly go to the cost of surgery, rehabilitation, and any other medical expenses associated with Anand’s journey to independence, ability to walk again and the hope of a pain free future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you in advance for your generosity.
</div>
