Analee is a single mother in Argentina who has always worked hard to provide for her daughter, Elena. She’s known in her community for her delicious sandwiches and her warm, caring spirit. In an instant, they lost nearly everything—clothes, school supplies, dishes, and all their belongings except for a single bed. Despite this, Analee’s resilience shines through as she continues to care for Elena, who is now facing a serious health crisis. Elena is very weak and can only eat bland, cooked foods. The only way for her to find relief is through surgery, which they cannot afford on their own.
