My name is Cynthia and I am raising funds for my mom, Ana, who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. Ana has survived breast cancer two times previously, in 2001 and 2013, after chemotherapy and radiation. Unfortunately, now that the breast cancer has spread to her spine, there is no cure, and the focus is on keeping her comfortable and pain-free.
Ana has spent her life being a generous and giving person. She retired from being an English as a Second Language (ESOL) teacher assistant and spends most of her free time volunteering with her church. She raised two daughters who have her qualities of compassion, strength, and generosity. She has always been willing to give the shirt off her back to help others in a worse situation.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to cover any medical costs that she won't be able to cover due to being on social security. Medical costs like pain medications, mobility equipment (wheelchair specifically), and copays. We hope to relieve the stress of any financial burdens and make her worry free.
