<div>Hi, I’m an undocumented senior studying <strong>engineering at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.</strong>

<div>I’ve worked incredibly hard to get here. I’ve completed <strong>85% of my degree</strong>, maintained a <strong>3.53 GPA</strong>, made the<strong> Dean’s List</strong>, and stayed committed to becoming the first engineer in my family.

</div>
<div>But as an undocumented student, I’m excluded from <strong>federal financial aid, loans</strong>, and <strong>most scholarships</strong> — even though I’ve lived in the U.S. nearly my whole life.
</div>

</div>
<div>On <strong>June 4, 2025, the Texas Supreme Court struck down the Dream Act’s in-state tuition protections. </strong>Overnight, my tuition bill tripled. This Fall, I owe<strong> $12,850</strong>, and because I already used an emergency institutional loan in Spring 2025, I no longer qualify for one now.

<div>Without immediate help, I risk being <strong>dropped from my classes</strong> — not because I didn’t work hard, but because of financial barriers outside of my control.
</div>

</div>
<div>I’m raising <strong>$13,000</strong> to cover my tuition and mandatory fees this semester. This will allow me to stay enrolled for this fall.
