Help An Orphan Get Her GED After Job Corps Displacement

Donation protected
My name is Jaeda, but I'm better known as Amity. In 2017, when I was ten years old, my mother died. Five years later, my father followed. I went into kinship care where I went between several homes for years.

After finally finding my footing, I went to Job Corps, a program for impoverished youth to get their diploma, driver's license, and learn a trade. I was extremely excited for my future. I found something other than tragedy.

I was 1.5 credits away from getting my diploma when my computer locked, and the program was shut down by the Department of Labor.

I have lost a lot of things in my life, but I want to continue. Giving up would only make me lose myself. I ask for $200 to pay for my GED tests so I can enroll into college and get a job as quickly as possible.

All extra money will go towards my CNA tests as I continue training at home for my certification, drivers education, transportation, housing, college for nursing, and savings.

UPDATE: as it stands my CNA schooling is quoted to be around 500-800 for clinicals locally. So most extra donation money will be going towards that! Thank you!
