Help an LGBTQIA Young Adult Attend Indigo Ball!

Hi there! My name is Gavin and I currently volunteer at the LGBT Center OC for the young adult group, Prism, and also serve as the Youth Representative on the Center’s Board of Directors.
Each year, the LGBT Center OC hosts its biggest and boldest fundraising event of the year--Indigo Ball! This annual event is a wonderful way for people in the Orange County community to learn about the tremendous work that the LGBT Center OC does for the LGBTQIA community in Orange County and surrounding areas. More specifically, Indigo Ball is an excellent event for young adults who use the LGBT Center OC’s resources to attend, as they will get to see where the money that funds their programs comes from, along with the other amazing projects and resources organized by the LGBT Center OC.
Unfortunately, Indigo Ball can be expensive for young adults to afford, and because of that, I am campaigning this year to buy a table at the event that will specifically host young adults who participate in the LGBT Center OC’s events, activities, and groups. With your help, we’ll be able to send 10 amazing young adults to this event where they will not only see the what the LGBT Center OC does on a larger scale but also have the opportunity to meet and network with influential individuals in the community.
The ability to develop a professional relationship with an adult mentor can make a great difference in the lives of young adults who are just beginning to navigate their higher education, employment, and professional life overall. The opportunity to meet influential and experienced individuals who could serve as potential mentors at Indigo Ball will help us guide our next generation of LGBTQIA people and help the LGBT Center OC launch its newest Youth program which will focus on mentorship among the LGBTQIA community.
Please help us send our young adults to attend Indigo Ball 2019 and, in turn, support the LGBT Center OC and all of its years of providing resources and services to LGBTQIA individuals throughout Orange County and beyond. No donation is too small, thank you!
