A hardworking mother in the Abilene community is carrying an overwhelming burden and urgently needs help to keep her family safely housed. Her husband recently experienced a sudden and severe health decline that has left him unable to walk or work. At the same time, she is caring for their handicapped child and trying to hold everything together for their family of four. As the sole provider, she already works full time, but with her husband now immobile and needing constant care, taking on extra work is simply not possible.

 The financial strain has become unbearable. She is struggling to cover rent, utility bills, and other basic living expenses while managing this devastating medical crisis at home. Local housing resources in Abilene have been explored, but they are currently exhausted, leaving the family with nowhere else to turn. They are facing the very real risk of losing their home during one of the hardest seasons of their lives.

 This fundraiser has been created to protect the family’s privacy while giving the community a way to stand beside them in a meaningful way. Every donation will go toward keeping a roof over their heads and helping them meet essential household needs during this crisis.
