My name is Trista Jorgensen and I am setting up this fundraising site to help out Amy Roush and her 3 children, following the unexpected loss of Scott Roush, her husband and their father on June 6th, 2024. Amy and Scott's children are Evan, who is 13 years old, William, who is 12 years old, and Maxine, who is 8 years old. Plus two family dogs, Cooper and Rosie.

Scott was the main provider for their household and in his absence, Amy and the kids will need some help. Thoughts and prayers, along with financial help will be key to helping this family out. Whether you can give $5 or $500 anything will help this young family, suddenly without their champion provider.

Scott was loved by many, and made friends with anyone he crossed paths with. He had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and could quote any movie with ease. He was the life of the party, thriving in the any social setting he found himself! He loved music and playing the guitar (he was self-taught!). He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to go fishing and hunting with his kids. He loved cooking and traveling with his family. Scott had a competitive spirit and loved to play pickleball and board games competitively!

Above all else, Scott was a family man that fiercely loved his wife and children. He was a cherished coach for his children’s hockey and lacrosse teams for many years, coaching in the Chisago Lakes and Onalaska, WI hockey associations. He proudly supported his kids in all of their activities. Scott and Amy were married for 17 years and were friends for more than 30 years.

Their children have suffered an unimaginable loss but are surrounded by friends and family to help them through. They are also active in many sports and Evan and Will both play hockey and baseball. Maxine is an avid gymnast, but also is trying softball, volleyball and a few other options. Your support will help these kiddos stay active and doing what they love.
