Our lives were forever changed when Amy Smiley was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma after hard lump appeared on her neck.
Let's do some good and show some kindness today by helping someone who has always helped and put others before herself. Amy is well known to many dental/medical residents and an essential part of anyone's journey though residency/ grad school.
Amy is always available to help and does not ask much in return. She is a nanny, caregiver, house keeper, pet sitter, gardener, plumber, cook, and anything else you have ever needed. Amy is your friend, co worker, sister, and supporter. She has such a kind and pure heart, and true to her name is always smiling.
Amy is not asking for anything, and she is unable to do what she enjoys (helping us) because she is undergoing chemotherapy. Radiation is not an option at this point because she would lose the ability to speak completely.
Any amount helps, large or small, prayers and well-wishes! Currently, Amy is struggling, and unable to pay medical, utility, and living expenses due to this tragedy that has left everyone devastated. Amy is halfway done with chemotherapy and anything helps!
