<div><strong>My Journey So Far</strong>

<div>Amy first noticed something wasn’t right back in 2018, when she found a thickened area in her breast. At the time, she was reassured it was nothing serious.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the following years, she continued to raise concerns as her symptoms changed, but each time she was told it was normal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2020, while pregnant during COVID, Amy again noticed changes — including blood discharge from her nipple. Due to restrictions, she was only assessed over the phone and was reassured this was just hormonal changes during pregnancy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After giving birth in January 2021, she discovered another lump just weeks later. Despite her concerns, she wasn’t seen until months later when she was devastatingly diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, which had already spread to her lymph nodes. She was just 26 years old, with a newborn baby and a young son at home.

<div>Amy endured everything thrown at her 6 months of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, as well as private cancer protocols.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In November 2022, she was finally told she was "cancer free".
</div>
<div>Even though she was never given a scan of her brain.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>But her journey didn’t end there.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Throughout her treatment and recovery, Amy repeatedly raised concerns about worsening symptoms, including migraines, blurred vision, and dizziness, but these were dismissed. She was never offered a brain scan, as this wasn’t standard protocol.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even when she pushed for answers privately, she was told it was “highly unlikely” the cancer had spread to the brain, and there was more chance of the doctor having a “heart attack”.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>But Amy knew something wasn’t right.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In June 2023, after weeks of severe migraines, feeling unwell, and repeatedly going back and forth to doctors, she went to A&amp;E on her wedding anniversary.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s when her world fell apart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Doctors discovered a large tumour in her brain — secondary (stage 4) breast cancer.
</div>

<div>She underwent emergency, life-saving surgery, followed by multiple rounds of radiotherapy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Life has been a constant battle since.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Amy has since then developed dural spread (Leptomeningeal Disease) and 14 brain tumours, which has a poor prognosis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Amy has gone through five different types of chemotherapy, and has undergone targeted SRS radio treatments and whole brain radiotherapy, and months of high-dose steroids.
</div>

<div>Alongside numerous private treatments and health protocols, all in the hope of slowing the progression of her cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She also tried Dendritic Cell Immunotherapy, which only worked for around 6 months but unfortunately the cancer managed to progress yet again.
</div>

<div>In December 2025, Amy began her last-line chemotherapy. Shortly after, she suffered a brain bleed, leading to multiple seizures and loss of speech.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More recently, she has suffered multiple seizures on Mother’s Day and again over Easter. Each one is a terrifying reminder that the tumours are still growing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The pressure on her brain is now affecting how she speaks, how she thinks, and how she functions day to day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And despite everything… Amy is still battling, still fighting, still hoping for any possible treatment that may help her.
</div>

<div><strong>The Hardest Part</strong>
</div>
<div>Amy has now been told she can’t have any more radiotherapy.
</div>
<div>The swelling in her brain isn’t improving and even after 5 months on strong steroids.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So unfortunately, that is another line of treatment exhausted and she has now ran out of options!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why We Need Your Help</strong>

<div>We are now urgently searching across the UK and Europe for any possible treatments, such as clinical trials or any private treatments, off-label medications, anything that could give her more time.
</div>

<div>We are spending over £1,800 every month based off her current private protocols, and these costs are only expected to increase.
</div>
