Help Amishi & Chirag Fight Breast Cancer

Having grown up in Georgia, Amishi truly imbibes the saying "southern hospitality". Whether it's for family, including her two young daughters, friends, or new acquaintances, she has always put others first and gone out of her way to help in whatever capacity possible. Even till this day, Amishi can't bear to see anyone facing hardships. Little did she know, one of the most difficult hardships would befall her.


In July 2018, at the age of 37, Amishi was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer. After 5 different chemotherapy regimens, surgery, and radiation, her cancer still continued to grow. By July 2019, it was categorized to Stage 4, where it spread throughout her skin. Doctors informed her she had a 5% chance to live if she continued on chemotherapy alone.



Amishi stayed strong with a positive outlook. After being denied for multiple clinical trials, fortunately, she qualified for a trial in Boston, which is also 5 hours one way from her home.  Costs of routine imaging, accommodations, travel, and treatment of side effects have fallen on the family to cover. She has had to frequent the emergency room for fluid build up in her lung, low blood counts, blood transfusions, and other complications.



As her battle against cancer continues, so does the influx of medical bills. The family is extremely grateful for any support to help pay her medical bills and ongoing expenses for the betterment of her health.
