We have been lucky enough to able to practice and hold classes in so many amazing spaces around Paris – but because of renovation schedules and closures due to the pandemic, it is high time we try to get our own space.
Spring 2020 was ACT’s 10th Anniversary, and we had nearly saved enough for the lease deposit by then, but once the pandemic hit, we chose instead to use this cushion to continue keeping our teachers employed so they wouldn't suddenly be without jobs, and continued our programs, but catered them to the pandemic restrictions – offering our students new ways to creatively express themselves – whether this was on film, or through video performances.
We are a company that puts on a final show, on a real stage, in a real theatre every semester, and these new pandemic-coping strategies were tough! And more expensive, unfortunately – given the costs of filming and editing. We are grateful to the support we have been given, by our students, their families, and our past program "graduates," in helping us continue to provide such a wonderful and much needed musical theatre outlet for many children.
Please help us continue to provide this wonderful program for children, as well as help us raise enough so that we can finally have a permanant place to rehearse and continue providing the public with the best shows ever!
