Help Amelia's family with bills and therapy!

Hi my name is Pamela and I am raising money for my daughter and granddaughter to help offset household bills, therapy not covered by insurance, as well as expenses accruing while staying in Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse.

Less than one week ago, doctors delivered these words diagnosing months of mysterious symptoms plaguing our 7-year-old Amelia.

Normally precocious and vivacious with boundless energy, Amelia had become listless and weak and unusually unspirited.

Today, after emergency surgery, Amelia lays in a hospital bed attached to tubes to help her breathe and eat, unable to talk or walk. The tumor which stretched from the top of her head to her spine, has been removed and gratefully, doctors deem this non-cancerous.

She will likely spend weeks or months in the hospital and years in treatment and therapy.

The road ahead is lined with difficulty. It is difficulty we are confident Amelia will take on with resilience. It is a road we will travel with faith and hope and love.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your help. Amelia needs your help.

The quick turn of events has left Tori potentially jobless and likely unable to go back to work with the care Amelia will need.

Insurance barely covers the basic medical bills.

We do not have the necessary funds to cover the therapies Amelia will need, that are not covered by insurance.

Amelia’s basic brain and body functions have been compromised for some time by this unseen and unknown brain tumor and more so by the invasive, risky surgery to remove the foreign growth.

The treatments and therapies needed to support Amelia in walking, talking and living again are not covered by insurance and beyond the reach of most Americans’ financial abilities.

We humbly ask for your support. We understand the time is difficult for all making every dollar you can spare that much more precious to our family. We will commit each of you to a lifetime of prayer and thanks for your sacrifices.

And more than any amount of money, we plead for your prayers and belief that miracles for Amelia will continue to come and Amelia will live a healthy, happy life well into adulthood and beyond.
