Help Amato get to the CrossFit Games!

Amato Mazzocca es oriundo de Venezuela y vive en Madrid, España. Ha sido uno de los atletas más en forma del mundo durante los últimos 4 años, calificándose para los CrossFit Games cada año desde 2018 mediante 2021. En 2019, Amato fue a Madison con la misión de convertirse en el campeón mundial 14-15 de 2019 y por poco no logró ese objetivo con un segundo lugar y convertirse en el primer atleta venezolano en obtener una medalla en la historia de los CrossFit Games. Impulsado por el deseo de estar en lo más alto del podio mientras el adolescente Amato más en forma del mundo entrenaba con ese objetivo en su corazón y mente durante 2020, pero desafortunadamente el mundo tenía otros planes. A pesar de la clasificación, los CrossFit Games se cancelaron comprensiblemente para la temporada 2020 debido a la pandemia de COVID 19.
Con el mundo comenzando a abrirse de nuevo y los CrossFit Games con luz verde, Amato está listo para competir por el título de Fittest Teen on Earth. Sin embargo, esto no está exento de desafíos, con las prohibiciones de viaje europeas activas, Amato tendrá que viajar a la República Dominicana 15 días antes de los CrossFit Games para obtener la autorización para viajar a los EE. UU. Aunque esto presenta una dificultad única, estoy seguro de que sus amigos, familiares y comunidad pueden ayudar a facilitar.

Amato Mazzocca hails from Venezuela and lives in Madrid, Spain. He has been one of the worlds fittest athletes for the past 4 years, qualifying for the CrossFit Games every year from 2018 through 2021. In 2019 Amato went to Madison on a mission to become the 2019 14-15 world champion and narrowly missed achieving that goal with a second place finish and becoming the first Venezuelan athlete to medal in CrossFit Games history. Fueled by the desire to stand atop the podium as the worlds fittest Teen Amato trained with that goal on his heart and mind throughout 2020, but unfortunately the world had other plans. Despite qualifying, the CrossFit Games were understandably cancelled for the 2020 season due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.
With the world beginning to open up again and the CrossFit Games having the green light Amato is ready to vie for the title Fittest Teen on Earth. This is not without challenges though, with active European travel bans Amato will have to travel to the Dominican Republic 15 days prior to the CrossFit Games in order to be cleared to travel to the US. Although this presents a unique difficulty its one that I am confident his friends, family and community can help to facilitate.
