Help Amasha Get Medical Training

Amasha Ngou is from a region in Tanzania that has practically no local medical assistance. He started his training as a medical technician two years ago, and I learned about his efforts through a former student of mine, Ali Arams, who has been working in that region-- I helped Amasha out with a small donation then, and have stayed in touch via Facebook to follow his progress and learn more about him and his goals.  He did get that first certification, and it has inspired him to go even further.

Now, he wants to become more capable of helping his community by getting further medical training, and he needs financial aid to do it. His parents sold off some of their land to help him before, but this is a new challenge. 

The total he needs is $1900, and that's 100% tuition. No fluff, no other expenses, no "salary."  And, he needs funding NOW-- school starts Sept. 17! Some of you might wonder, why should I help this young man when the needs in our own country are so great-- and I just think, here's one young person I know who is determined and motivated and on the right path-- and his tuition needs are so modest, it seemed possible to actually help him out and give him support on that path.  If everyone who reads this gives even a small donation, it will meet his tuition needs. 

I've included a few words from Amasha himself. He's a very genuine young man with big ambition to help in his community with a very big need.  Please give what you can-- you'll not only help Amasha, you'll help an entire village and the whole region.

"I am 25yrs old and I am second born in my family. The last two years  I was at school in Kampala international University in Tanzania Dar es salaam and my father and my mother are small farmers. For now I am working to the community center for preventive medicine and it's my Dream to became a founder of Health community centre in my Home village in Usangule and it's always to share my skill with my community.

"And my first year in school my family sold a portion of land and crops for getting me school fees before I got sponsorship from Ali Aram's website and other people in US.

"And my heart is to volunteer to the hospital and Health checkup campaign in different places in Tanzania. I have been volunteering more than 3 years and I have got certificate for the appreciation for my donation and contribution in the community.
