My name is Lynn Patrick and I am doing this fundraiser for my daughter Amanda.

She has papillary renal cell carcinoma, known as kidney cancer, on her right lower kidney, and it's almost a 5cm mass. This cancer is hereditary and will keep coming back, she is told. She has had it on her lower left kidney, which they were able to remove. Now it's returned on her right

The surgeon said it's a very complex surgery, which means he can't remove it robotically. There are too many veins to get to where it is. He also said there is a possibility of having to remove the whole kidney. We are hoping it doesn't come to this.

She has put it in God's and the surgeon's hands.
